Jasmine Gayles is USF’s go-to scoring guard and late-game closer
Gayles was a first-team All-WCC guard for San Francisco after a breakout 2023-24 season in which she led the Dons in scoring at 16.8 points per game, started all 30 games, and scored in double figures 27 times. Her calling card is shot creation under pressure: she produced a 40-point game at Pacific, added elite free-throw volume, and can punish defenses from deep when she’s rolling. She looks like a strong fit for teams that need a confident, high-usage guard who brings toughness, production, and proven big-moment scoring punch.
