Colin Cymbalista is UIW’s middle-order pop with catcher grit
In the 2026 season, Colin Cymbalista has been a real run-production engine for Incarnate Word, highlighted by early home runs and multi-RBI games that show legitimate middle-of-the-order thump[1][2][3]. He enters as a senior catcher with a proven offensive track record — including a .393 season at Hutchinson in 2024 with 12 homers and a 1.156 OPS — and that combo of power, contact, and run creation is why he stands out[4][14]. The fit? If a team wants a catcher who can punish mistakes, handle pressure, and bring veteran presence, Cymbalista checks a lot of boxes[8][14].
