St. Thomas Sophomore INF Alex Hendrickson: High-Intensity Lefty with Elite Speed and Defensive Versatility
Alex Hendrickson is a **6-1, 180-lb sophomore infielder** for the St. Thomas Tommies who differentiates himself with **elite speed** (7.39s 60-yard dash) and **left-handed bat/right-handed throw** versatility across shortstop and second base [2][4]. While his 2025 freshman stats were modest (.286 BA, 6 hits in 14 games) due to limited starts, his **high school pedigree** as an All-Conference honoree and his **intense, supply-chain-focused mindset** suggest a player poised for a breakout as he gains more defensive reps [2][4]. He is a **high-fit prospect for teams needing a fast, defensively flexible lefty** who brings relentless energy and hasn't missed time with injury, though he needs more offensive consistency to prove he can carry a lineup [2]. His differentiator is the **combination of speed and defensive range** that allows him to cover significant ground, making him a strategic asset in the infield despite his current low-volume offensive output [4].
