Monmouth freshman Cory Pascarella is flashing late-inning poise
In the 2026 season, Cory Pascarella has emerged as a useful right-handed arm for Monmouth, earning a save in a March 29 win over Elon and working in relief in key spots, including a scoreless seventh against Hofstra.[3][6] His season line shows 23.0 innings, a 5.87 ERA, 20 strikeouts, and 12 walks, which points to a live arm with swing-and-miss stuff but still some freshman volatility to iron out.[1] He also earned CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognition, a small but telling sign of competitiveness and consistency off the mound.[10]
