DD Holmes brings size, upside, and a developing edge presence to Maryland
In the 2025 season, DD Holmes gave Maryland a big-bodied, high-upside defensive lineman at 6-foot-7, 263 pounds, with a recruiting pedigree that included four-star status out of Gonzaga (D.C.) and a transfer path from Florida State to College Park. He played in 9 games for Maryland in 2025 and posted 9 tackles and 1 fumble recovery, showing flashes rather than finished-product production. His calling card is length, power, and room to keep climbing — a fit for teams that want a disruptive developmental DL, not just a box-score eater.
