Jalen Poyser brings size, shot-making, and Canadian backcourt experience to McNeese State
Poyser is a 6'4" guard with a proven scoring profile and international/college experience, which makes him an intriguing fit if you want backcourt size and a player who can create offense in different ways. He has shown he can score efficiently in stretches, but his recent college production has been modest—7.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 7 games while shooting 37.6% from the field—so the value case is more about upside, versatility, and maturity than box-score dominance. He also has a history of being a capable handler and multi-level scorer, which suggests useful connective-guard traits if his shot and decision-making hold up.[2][3][4][6]
