Blade Carver brings JUCO thunder to ECU’s catching room
In the 2025 season at Northern Oklahoma, Blade Carver was a legit middle-of-the-order bat, slashing .391/.498/.898 with 23 home runs, 71 RBIs, 13 doubles, and 9 triples, then brought that big-power résumé to East Carolina as a junior catcher. He stands out for impact contact, extra-base pop, and athletic value at a demanding position; he also adds speed, with 21 steals in 2025. For a team, that’s the fun package: a catcher who can change an inning with one swing and isn’t just a glove-first roster filler.
