Colby Wallace brings ECU a power bat, plus real two-way versatility
Colby Wallace is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound third baseman/right-hander for East Carolina who earned 2025 All-AAC first-team honors after hitting .270 with 10 homers, 37 RBI and a .987 fielding percentage as the Pirates’ everyday third baseman; in league play, he bumped that batting average to .294 and also contributed on the mound, including three saves. ECU lists him as a 2026 MLB Draft prospect, and the quick read from the stat line matches the broader profile: physical, durable, and competitive, with enough pop and arm strength to matter on both sides of the ball.
