Sam Greer brings relief value and strikeout flashes to Saint Joseph’s bullpen
Sam Greer is a right-handed reliever who led Saint Joseph’s in appearances in 2025 with 22 outings, showing the kind of trust coaches reserve for a dependable bullpen arm; he also logged a 4.71 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 3 wins in 36.1 innings, and has earned multiple high-leverage looks, including a win in relief against VCU and another win at Navy in 2026. His appeal is competitive utility: he can handle frequent work, miss bats, and fill flexible late-inning roles, though the profile suggests he is more useful as a steady bullpen piece than a pure overpowering ace.
