Malik Eugene brings ball-hawking safety experience and veteran savvy to Tulane
Malik Eugene has been a steady, multi-year defensive back for Tulane, with his 2015 season showing 81 total tackles and one interception, a useful snapshot of his willingness to tackle and play downhill. He profiles as a physical, assignment-sound safety who can support the run and help stabilize the secondary, more “reliable chess piece” than flashy highlight machine. For a team, that makes him attractive if the goal is dependable contact, maturity, and field awareness. The main caveat: the available public stat line is dated, so current form and role should be verified before projecting fit.
