Campbell LB Jaquez Wilkes brings elite tackling pedigree and big-play upside
Jaquez Wilkes arrives with a reputation as one of Alabama’s top 2026 linebackers, ranking No. 6 at the position by 247Sports, and he backed that up in high school with 367 tackles and 42 tackles for loss before his senior season. He’s more than a stat line: Wilkes was a high-volume, physical playmaker who also starred on offense, which hints at rare athleticism and competitive toughness. For a team, the appeal is clear—he offers impact potential, versatility, and a proven knack for finding the ball, though he is still transitioning into a new defensive role.
