NC State Tackles Return with Grit, Ready for Virginia Tech Clash
Alex Barr, the 6-6, 270-pound senior left tackle for NC State Wolfpack, is back at practice and on track to return for Friday’s game against Virginia Tech after a brief injury absence. Though a 2-star prospect (247Sports rating: 76), Barr’s differentiator is his relentless intensity, three-year starter durability, and calm, team-first personality that elevates the entire offensive line. He’s not flashy, but he’s the anchor who gets the job done—perfect for teams valuing consistency over highlight reels. With 11 snaps in his first two games and an 81.1 average in his last 10, Barr brings proven experience and a high-intensity mindset that makes him a reliable fit for any competitive roster.
