Middle Tennessee’s J.D. Jones Brings NFL-Style Size and Veteran Interior Presence
J.D. Jones is a big-bodied interior defender at 6-2, 314 for Middle Tennessee, and that kind of frame usually means he can eat double-teams and help clog run lanes. The challenge is that available public performance data is thin and appears outdated, so the best read here is on traits rather than a current stat explosion. He also carries notable off-field baggage from a past domestic-violence case, which matters for any fit discussion. If you need a plug-and-play, high-motor DT with measurable length and physicality, he has the build; if you want a clean, highly documented current breakout, the tape-and-updates picture is less clear.
