Kay Martinez brings size, two-way versatility, and international-game experience to Jackson State
Martinez is a **6'6" guard/forward** whose value comes from matchup flexibility: he can slot between the wing and the backcourt, giving Jackson State a bigger perimeter defender and a potential secondary creator. Reliable public data is limited, but his profile shows recent **international competition for Costa Rica** in the 2024 FIBA Central American Pre-Qualifiers, which suggests experience against older, physical opponents and a steadier competitive base than a typical college newcomer. He looks like a good fit for a team that wants length, versatility, and a player who can cover multiple roles rather than dominate the ball.
