Tyshae Walton’s New Mexico State legacy: efficient two-way guard with real fight
Tyshae Walton’s New Mexico State profile shows a guard who contributed across the board in the 2008-09 season, with 53 rebounds, 23 assists, 21 steals, 2 blocks, and a 44.7% field-goal mark that ranked second on the team[1]. The appeal here is versatility: she wasn’t just a scorer, but a steady all-around piece who defended, moved the ball, and finished efficiently[1]. That kind of do-everything guard is valuable if a roster needs toughness, balance, and low-drama production rather than flash[1].
