FIU's Record-Setting Kicker from the Late 2000s Era
Dustin Rivest burst onto the FIU scene in 2008 by shattering the school record with five field goals—on a record-tying seven attempts—against Arkansas State, showcasing ice-cold accuracy and clutch reliability under pressure; he followed up in 2009 with an eight-made-FG streak before a block and key kicks like a 24-yarder in OT vs. UL. A dependable specialist with a knack for multi-FG games, his leg strength and consistency made him a Panther standout, though his era predates current rosters—ideal for teams needing a proven, battle-tested kicker without the freshman jitters.
