No Trace of Matt Russi on Cal Golden Bears Roster or Football Records
Searches across reliable sources like MaxPreps, NCSA, and college athletics sites reveal no college football player named Matt Russi (or close variant like Russo) on the California Golden Bears as a linebacker; instead, multiple Matt Russos appear in high school football (e.g., Cranford NJ with 2.0 sacks), sprint football at Post University, D3 offensive line at John Carroll (2023 All-OAC First Team), and track events, but none match Cal's program, current performance stats, or LB position—likely not a fit or active Bears athlete worth scouting.
