Southern’s Alvin Fosselman Brings Old-School Fullback Toughness, But He’s No Active Jaguars X-Factor
Alvin Fosselman is best known as a former Southern University fullback from the 2007–2008 seasons, not as an active 2026 roster contributor, and that matters if you’re evaluating him for current production. In the 2008 season, he logged at least one rushing score and multiple carries in game stats, but his real value was the bruising, team-first edge a true fullback brings—short-yardage grit, blocking attitude, and physicality. If you want a hammer, not a highlight reel, he fit that mold; if you need a current player update, there isn’t reliable evidence he’s currently on-field for Southern.
