Kent State’s depth-chart wildcard at linebacker
Josh Chilcote is listed with Kent State football, but the available 2026 public team data doesn’t show enough stat production to frame him as a proven on-field producer yet, so the real story is projection: he’s the kind of linebacker you track for special teams juice, toughness, and practice-room rise rather than headline numbers. If you want a ready-made, stat-rich difference-maker, he’s not there yet; if you want a developmental fit with room to grow into a physical, assignment-sound defender, he’s worth watching.
