Robert Simkins brings veteran versatility and team-first grit to UC Davis
In the 2022 season, Robert Simkins logged 4 catches for 34 yards for UC Davis, but his bigger value is the kind coaches love: a former team captain with a versatile background who played quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back in high school. His profile points to football IQ, adaptability, and competitive toughness rather than pure volume stats, which makes him a useful glue-guy fit if you want a smart, selfless receiver who can handle multiple roles and won’t blink under pressure.
