Courtney Shelton brings steady two-way guard value to NIU
Courtney Shelton is a versatile Northern Illinois guard who has shown she can impact games without dominating the ball, highlighted by a career-best 36 minutes against Loyola with five points, two rebounds and two assists, plus a key three-pointer that helped NIU build a four-point lead. Her value is in reliability, spacing and poise in pressure moments rather than headline scoring. For a team looking for a smart, low-mistake backcourt piece who can compete, defend and make timely plays, she looks like a solid fit.
