Veteran-bodied South Alabama DL with backup nose-tackle value
Chanet brings **size, interior leverage, and rotational depth** to South Alabama at nose tackle, and ESPN lists him with **6 solo tackles and 0.5 sacks** in his Jaguars profile. South Alabama’s roster notes say he was expected to see action as a **backup nose tackle**, which points to a plug-and-play run-stuffing role rather than a high-volume pass-rush profile. At **6-foot-2, 306 pounds**, he fits the profile of a sturdy interior defender who can eat space, hold ground, and give a defense dependable snaps when the game gets physical.
