Delaware catcher Jamie Chandler brings contact value and defensive upside
Jamie Chandler is a right-handed catcher for Delaware who has already earned a 2025 CAA Commissioner's Honor Roll nod and made her collegiate debut in 2025, then posted a .222 average with 8 hits and 5 RBI in 2026 action listed by D1 Softball. Beyond the box score, she profiles as a steady, developing backstop whose value is in game management, everyday reliability, and the kind of catch-and-throw presence that helps a pitching staff settle in. If you need a catcher who can grow into a defense-first role while contributing contact at the plate, she is worth a close look.
