steady lefty arm for Murray State with strikeout ability and improving run prevention
In the 2026 season, Jackson Ugo has given Murray State a reliable left-handed option, posting a 2.25 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 16 innings across 8 appearances, after a 3.55 ERA in 2025. His profile suggests a pitcher who competes well in short outings, limits damage, and already has some bullpen value; at 6-1, 195, he brings a college-ready frame and a live lefty look. The fit question is straightforward: he projects as a useful staff piece for teams that value matchup versatility, strike-throwing, and quiet consistency over flash.
