Mercer’s Kody Arnold brings real field-position juice
In the 2023 season, Mercer punter Kody Arnold averaged 38.3 yards on 31 punts, hit a long of 53 yards, and showed he can flip the field with both length and placement. He also has a strong prep resume, including 41.8 yards per punt as a senior at Glynn Academy and 25 of 38 punts inside the 20. Mercer’s 2026 preseason scrimmage notes suggest he remains in the mix and can still pop a 57-yard boot, making him a legitimate special-teams weapon if your team values hang time, discipline, and hidden-yardage wins.
