Jalin Butler brings length and versatility to LIU’s secondary
Jalin Butler is a 6-foot-2, 208-pound defensive back/safety who gives LIU a big, physical presence on the back end, and his roster history shows he earned game action as a freshman in 2022. In the 2022 season, LIU listed him as appearing in the final four games, including a rushing touch in the finale, which hints at a versatile athlete the staff trusted to get on the field. At 6'2" with DB/S flexibility, his best selling point is size-plus-switchability for matchups and special packages, making him a useful fit for teams that value long, disruptive defensive backs.
