Bryan West brings veteran deep-snapper reliability to SFA
Bryan West profiles as a steady, specialist-value piece for Stephen F. Austin: ESPN lists him with the Lumberjacks and SFA’s roster has identified a snapper in that role, which usually means his job is about precision, consistency, and trust rather than splashy stats[1][2]. As a long snapper, his best trait is the kind coaches love—clean operation under pressure, hidden-yardage impact on punts and kicks, and low-drama dependability that can quietly swing field position. If your team wants a tough, assignment-sure specialist who can help special teams hum, West is the type you notice most when nothing goes wrong.
