Western Carolina's Steady Role-Player Forward
Josh Mendenhall, a 6'6" forward for the Western Carolina Catamounts, delivers reliable bench production with career averages of 1.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 45.7% FG in limited minutes (around 8 MPG from his 2013-14 freshman year), shining in spot starts like his 12-point outburst at Furman. His gritty hustle, rebounding tenacity, and D1 debut poise make him a low-risk, high-energy glue guy—perfect for mid-major teams needing depth without drama, though limited recent stats suggest he's a developmental prospect rather than a star.
