Javonte Lain brings veteran edge presence to Georgia State
Javonte Lain looks like a proven, older defensive end who can help Georgia State with experience and physicality; ESPN’s player stats show he logged 15 total tackles and 2 sacks in one season, and 4 tackles in another, which points to a player who has flashed disruptive ability even if the raw production isn’t gaudy[1]. His differentiator is the veteran feel: Georgia State’s roster history shows he’s been around the program for multiple years, so the fit is more about steady assignment discipline, toughness, and trusted depth than headline-grabbing burst[2].
