Depth-Chart DB with a Fresh Start at Georgia State
Blane Cannon is a Georgia State defensive back whose value right now is more about upside and role fit than a loaded stat sheet, since ESPN lists him with no recorded defensive stats at the moment and Georgia State’s roster lists him as a 5-foot-9, 170-pound freshman DB. That profile suggests a player still carving out his college identity, which can be useful for teams needing a smaller, quicker defensive back who can develop in coverage and special teams. He’s a name to watch for growth, not an instant-impact headline-maker.
