Owen Cheatham brings size, toughness, and a high-floor OL profile to FAU
In the 2025 high school season, Cheatham stood out as a long, athletic interior/line prospect who played both sides of the ball at Durango, then chose Florida Atlantic over Wyoming. FAU listed him at 6-6, 265 pounds and highlighted his physicality and toughness, while his high school bio notes zero sacks allowed in his senior season, 35 tackles on the defensive front, and a 4.6 GPA. He looks like a developmental OL with real upside: sturdy frame, multi-sport background, strong academic makeup, and the kind of competitive edge coaches love to mold.
