Mobile QB with Proven Arm Seeking Bigger Stage After Murray State Stint
Jameson Holcomb, a 5-11 dual-threat QB from Tennessee, flashed potential at Murray State in 2024 with 197 passing yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT over 7 games (18/29), building on his stellar high school career as 2021 Region 4-6A QB of the Year (1,290 yards, 13 TDs).[1][2][3][4] Now on Valdosta State's 2025 roster after Troy redshirt, his compact frame, accuracy, and academics stand out as differentiators—perfect for teams needing a gritty, intelligent backup with starter upside and no major injury flags.[1][7] Care because he's a high-character riser ready to compete.
