Kirsten Tilleman was a paint-anchor MVP for UCSB
Kirsten Tilleman made her mark at UC Santa Barbara as a hard-nosed 6-foot-1 forward/center who rebounded, protected the rim, and delivered in big moments. In the 2011-12 season, she led UCSB with 8.4 rebounds per game and 29 blocks, then earned Big West Tournament MVP honors after a 16-point, 11-rebound title-game performance. She was praised for her toughness, defensive timing, and offensive rebounding, plus the uncommon bonus of elite academics—she also posted a 3.96 GPA. If your team wants grit, size, and winning habits, she’s the kind of frontcourt piece that fits.
