Boston College’s old-school linebacker with a prolific early-career impact
In the 2009 season, Andre Lawrence burst onto the scene for Boston College with 158 tackles, 87 solo stops, and All-ACC first-team honors, showing the kind of downhill physicality and instincts that make defenses hum[8]. He also earned ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year and repeated weekly conference recognition, which tells you he was more than a stat collector — he was a tone-setter with high motor and real playmaking juice[8].
