Ryland Morin is UAPB’s steady left-handed anchor in 2026
Morin, a 6'4" junior lefty for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, has been one of the Golden Lions’ most reliable arms in the 2026 season, highlighted by a complete-game shutout over Prairie View and a 5-1 run through mid-April. His differentiators are command, efficiency, and the ability to work deep into games—he twice delivered seven strong innings or better and was praised for being composed, efficient, and hard to square up. If a team wants a durable starter who can set the tone and keep games clean, he’s a fit; the caveat is that his swing-and-miss numbers appear more modest than his run prevention.
