the steady, versatile glue guy for Old Dominion
In the 2008-09 season, Jonathan Adams was the kind of forward coaches love: experienced, versatile, and trusted in big moments, with ODU noting he hit winning shots, logged a program-record 135 career games, and was praised as a solid defender and rebounder who knew the system inside out. His edge wasn’t flashy scoring so much as reliability, basketball IQ, and the ability to fit any lineup—plus a reputation for being strong in the classroom and calm in the huddle. If your team needs a smart, mature connector rather than a stat-stuffing headline act, he’s a very good fit.
