Jayce Gardner brings proven RB production, but at MTSU he’s mostly been a depth-piece rather than a featured weapon
Gardner’s best value comes from his earlier Central Oklahoma production, where in the 2021 season he logged 549 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, and 26 catches, showing he can contribute as both a runner and receiver out of the backfield. Since arriving at Middle Tennessee, his role has been much smaller, with 11 games played and only 1 carry for 8 yards in the 2024 season, so he looks more like a reliable, physical depth back than a proven feature starter right now.
