veteran Purdue glue guy with leadership and academics in his DNA
Jon McKeeman was a redshirt senior guard for Purdue in the 2016-17 season, listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, and he stood out more for leadership, basketball IQ, and reliability than flashy scoring. Purdue recognized him with its Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Award and a Big Ten Postgraduate Scholarship, signaling a high-character, high-discipline player who could stabilize a locker room and execute a role. If you want a tough, team-first guard who brings maturity, continuity, and intangibles, he’s the kind of guy coaches trust.
