seasoned Alabama State forward with size and experience
Derrick Johnson is listed as a forward for Alabama State, and the available team and ESPN records show him as a 6-foot-5, 225-pound veteran from Scottsboro, Alabama[1][2]. His edge is physicality and positional versatility, not headline-grabbing box-score volume: the archived 2009-10 record shows he appeared in 3 games and logged 6.0 minutes per game, suggesting a role player profile built around effort, size, and matchup flexibility[1][3]. If a team wants a rugged frontcourt body rather than a high-usage scorer, he fits that mold.
