Penn State’s do-it-all wing is a steady glue piece
Courtney Upshaw profiles as a low-drama, high-value guard/wing who brings length, defensive activity, and reliable hustle to Penn State’s Lady Lions rotation. The most consistent public record tied to a Penn State women’s basketball Courtney Upshaw is the freshman forward who earned the program’s Unsung Hero award by appearing in every game, averaging 3.0 points per game and blocking 17 shots in the season, with a double-double highlight that showed real all-around feel. That kind of stat-stuffing, team-first profile is exactly the sort of player coaches love when they need toughness, versatility, and buy-in.
