Ohio State OL Deontae Armstrong brings rare tackle size and developmental upside
Armstrong is a redshirt sophomore Ohio State offensive lineman with prototype tackle size at about 6-foot-6/6-foot-7 and 305–310 pounds, but his on-field sample is still very small: he played only one game in 2025 for 15 snaps after redshirting in 2024. Evaluators have described him as a strong zone-run blocker with the physical makeup to grow into a higher-level guard or tackle, and his combination of length, power, and academic/character markers makes him a classic developmental fit rather than an instant-impact starter.
