SIUE’s proven scoring guard with sneaky two-way bite
David McFarland’s SIUE résumé is built on shot-making and disruption: in the 2018-19 season, he averaged 13.6 points per game, ranked 15th in the OVC in scoring, and added 1.6 steals per game, while also starting all 31 games for the Cougars[1][5]. He wasn’t just a volume scorer—he repeatedly delivered big nights, including two 24-point games, and showed a knack for changing possessions with active hands[1]. If you want a guard who can score, defend, and play with edge, he’s the kind of sneaky-good fit that quietly makes lineups tougher to guard[1][2].
