Stephen Hopkins brings veteran power and reliability to Tennessee State's backfield
In the 2025 season, Stephen Hopkins is listed as a senior Tennessee State back, and the clearest differentiator is his veteran, power-first profile rather than pure speed flash. His earlier Tennessee State production showed a compact runner who can handle contact and contribute in short-yardage situations, which makes him useful if a team wants toughness, ball security, and a steady downhill style. The main question for fit is upside versus age and role specialization: he looks like a dependable, physical piece, not a breakout home-run threat.
