Montana’s high-IQ, academically decorated forward with deep local roots
Linda Cummings stood out for Montana as a Montana-grown forward whose value went beyond box-score scoring: she was recognized on the Verizon Academic All-District 7 Second Team and was described as one of the state’s best girls’ basketball players before joining the Lady Griz, signaling both competitiveness and strong two-way discipline. The available sources emphasize her basketball pedigree and consistency rather than flashy stat production, making her profile appealing for teams that want a reliable, coachable frontcourt piece with toughness, intelligence, and a proven connection to winning basketball culture.
