Julius Ray brings a sturdy, high-motor edge to UC Davis’ defensive front
In the 2025 season, Julius Ray appeared in four games for UC Davis and recorded three total tackles, all solo, while his Pasadena City College résumé shows real disruption juice: 13.5 sacks and 25.5 tackles for loss over two seasons. He looks like a compact, active DL who wins with effort, leverage, and backfield instincts rather than pure size, and he also carries a strong academic background that speaks to reliability and maturity. For a team wanting a dependable rotational lineman with real pass-rush upside, he’s a sneaky-good fit.
