Larry Sheppard’s UT Rio Grande Valley profile looks like a classic playmaking guard with a veteran edge
Larry Sheppard is listed as a UT Rio Grande Valley guard and, in his 2005-06 season, he flashed the kind of lead-guard instincts that pop in a hurry: 10 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals in his debut, with coaches praising his ability to score in transition and create for others. He also showed up in the program’s all-time record books for assists, suggesting real table-setting value rather than empty usage. The fit question is simple: if you want a guard who can organize, push pace, and bring some bite, he’s interesting.
