Lebaron Weathers brings old-school frontcourt punch for UAPB
Weathers is a sturdy 6-8 to 6-9 power forward/center who, in the 2009-10 season, gave UAPB reliable two-way production: 9.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game, with strong second-chance value and interior presence. He also showed real scoring pop earlier in his UAPB run, including 22 points and 10 rebounds in his debut and a 22-point, 9-rebound outing, which signals a player who can battle inside, finish through contact, and impact the glass. If you want a physical, paint-first big with toughness and production, he fits.
