UCF’s Intense, Data-Driven LB with Elite Tackling and Unmatched Grit
Mark Messeguer, a 5-8, 236-pound Redshirt Junior ILB for UCF, stands out not just for his 2023 season stats (87 tackles, 12 TFLs, 4 INTs), but for his relentless intensity and data-driven approach to football. Known as the team’s ‘tackling machine,’ he never misses a game—missing only one in UCF history—and brings a rare blend of physical grit and mental precision. His personality traits include fierce competitiveness and a coachable, analytical mindset. While his height may raise questions, his speed, instincts, and leadership make him a perfect fit for any team seeking a high-intensity, reliable linebacker who elevates the defense through consistency and smart play.
