Ibrahim Wattara brings efficient, physical forward play to FDU
In his FDU season, Ibrahim Wattara stood out as a sturdy 6-foot-5 forward who gave the Knights efficient minutes: he averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 46.3% from the floor, with a season line also listed at 4.6 points, 2.55 rebounds, and 33.3% from three on limited attempts. He earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors in November 2021, signaling early impact. The appeal is his blue-collar, low-drama profile—he plays within the offense, competes on the glass, and projects as a role player who can help a team with physicality and effort.
