Stephen Edwards brings JUCO-tested ball skills to Central Arkansas's secondary
In his 2022 JUCO season, Stephen Edwards posted 28 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 10 pass breakups at Northeast Community College, a strong indicator of a DB who can find the football and disrupt plays. He arrived at Central Arkansas with a reputation as a physical, instincts-driven defensive back who earned DB MVP honors and weekly recognition, which suggests competitive juice and playmaking confidence. The fit looks appealing for a team needing a versatile, opportunistic coverage piece rather than a pure numbers-only defender.
